Society and Corporate Golf Days are welcome at Whitley Bay

Visitors are always welcome at Whitley Bay Golf Club whether it be a casual tee time booking or with an organised Society but we would ask that if you are planning a visit you avoid a Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings as these are times we reserve for our members. Tee times may be booked seven days in advance by calling the Club Professional or calling in person and visitors must register with the professional and obtain their green fee ticket before play. In addition we do have Golf Buggies for hire which can also be booked through our professional.

Buggy Hire
We have four buggies available for hire which can be booked in advance, although we would ask that you check in advance to ensure that they are in use when adverse weather conditions apply.

Visiting Societies
Special rates are available for parties of 12 players or more from £22 per person, please contact the Secretary for further details. The Secretary will allocate tee times which must be adhered to and a deposit of £5 per person will be required to confirm a booking.

Catering
Our Caterer Maureen Liddell, offers a wide range of menus to meet your needs including the following:

Coffee and Bacon Sandwich £3.00
All Day Breakfast £4.00
Soup & Sandwiches £4.00
Giant Yorkshire Pudding with filling £5.50
Bangers & Mash with onion gravy and peas £5.50

Please note that it is important that all members of the visiting party choose the same and menu requirements must be confirmed 7 days before the visit.

Dress Code

The Clubhouse
Smart casual dress is acceptable anywhere in the Clubhouse, however please note that the following are NOT allowed at any time on the upper floor:
- Jeans or any other denim apparel.
- Overcoats and outside apparel (incl. zip up blousons).
- Golf shoes or Training shoes.
- Track suits
- Shorts (must be tailored) can be worn until 7.30pm. Please note cargo shorts are not permitted.

The Course
All players are requested to maintain a respectable standard of dress whilst on the Course. The following are NOT allowed:
- Jeans or any other denim apparel.
- Cargo Shorts i.e. with side patch pockets. Tailored shorts only.
- Shirts without collars or sleeves.
- Tracksuits.
- Training shoes.

Please note that the above regulations are strictly enforced and it is considered to be the responsibility of the organiser to make the visiting society players aware of them
