Junior Academy
Summer 2018 Junior Academy will be run on Tuesdays from 5.00pm until 7.00pm at the Golf Club. The seven sessions will begin on 18th July and continue until 29th August. The participants will be able to practice their skills in a range of activities using the various facilities at the Golf Club and under the supervision of the Professional assisted by Club Members who are qualified coaches, and other volunteers. There will also be the opportunity to take part in the Junior Championship Day on Sunday, 3rd September.
Golf equipment will be provided but the juniors will need sensible shoes or trainers and outdoor clothing appropriate to the weather.
For Non-Members the Course Fees are £10 per session (£60 for the full 7 weeks), which includes all tuition and vouchers to spend on drinks and snacks in the Clubhouse. The Course Fee for Junior Members of Whitley Bay Golf Club is £5 per session (£30 for 7 weeks).
Applications can be made using the attached form which should be returned to the Club Professional or the Club Secretary along with the appropriate fee if paying for the full 7 weeks in advance OR a £20 deposit to cover the first sessions.
Please note that places on the Academy are limited and so early application is advised.
